Dennis Smith PT, MPT, CHT earned his Master of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1996. Dennis developed his expertise in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy working for a private practice in North County San Diego for 24 years. Dennis is skilled at treating a myriad of complex physical therapy pathologies, ranging from post-surgical spine and extremity rehabilitation to chronic pain to hand injuries. Dennis has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2002, acknowledging expertise in the field of Hand Therapy. Throughout his career, Dennis has been a leader and mentor to younger PT’s. He has spent a majority of his career working as a Director of Rehabilitation, while still treating patients full-time in Hand Therapy and Orthopedics. His resume boasts completion of extensive continuing education courses over a 26 year period, from the many of the top leaders in the field. Dennis is an expert Physical Therapist, whether you need rehabilitation for your hand, back, shoulder, knee, etc., you will find his passion and devotion to his patients unparalleled. He will work to find a solution for you. Dennis moved to Bozeman, MT in January 2021 and is thrilled to be part of the Billings Clinic Team! In his free time, Dennis enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is active in outdoor recreational sports - hiking, trail running, skiing, fishing, and mountain biking.
