Zijie Su, MD, MPH
Dr. Zijie Su joined Billings Clinic in the summer of 2021. He attended medical school at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. He also received an MPH degree from Yale School of Public Health in New Haven, CT. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. During his residency, he received the Fellowship Award for young psychiatrists from the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology (JSPN) in 2019. He has a strong interest in public psychiatry and community mental healthcare, especially the system-based approach to improving the mental health care in rural and underserved communities. Dr. Su also has extensive experiences working with international organizations including United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), focusing on the primary prevention of substance use.
Outside of work, he likes travelling around the world. His most recent favorite place is El Chalten.
