Andrea Lozano, MD

Andrea witnessed the effects of trauma first-hand while volunteering with the medical team on board the Royal Caribbean Humanitarian Cruise that helped to evacuate the victims of Hurricane Maria. Andrea grew up in Brownsville, Texas. She attended the University of Texas Pan American and received her undergraduate degree in Biology before completing medical school at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Andrea then entered her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville from 2019-2022. Andrea plans to incorporate her passion of women’s health into her psychiatry practice with a focus on women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry.
