Tessa Zolnikov, MD, MBA
Tessa Zolnikov is from Roundup Montana. She attended the University of Montana and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Russian Language. She went on to volunteer for the World Health Organization in Tajikistan researching the HIV epidemic. She founded a nonprofit in Missoula while getting her MBA at the University of Montana. She worked as a Senior Business Analyst before deciding to go to medical school at the University of Washington. She is graduating as a TRUST (Targeted Rural and Underserved Track) Scholar. During medical school she lobbied the Montana State Legislature to continue funding for Montana medical students. While she has extensive volunteer experience one of her most meaningful was playing taps at veteran funerals in Roundup and surrounding communities from grade school through high school. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, playing the piano and trumpet, and traveling with her family.
