Billings Clinic's Skin Cancer Program offers the newest techniques in surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. This includes Mohs surgery, which removes skin cancer with highly precise microscopic control.
Mohs surgery has the highest cure rates of any form of skin cancer treatment, with rates exceeding 99% for many cancers.
Billings Clinic has the largest collective group of board certified dermatologists in the state of Montana. In addition, two of the five dermatologists are fellowship-trained as Mohs surgeons.
The skin cancer program is led by a multidisciplinary team that consists of dermatologists, pathologists, oncologists, and nurses who work closely to assure optimal treatment plans and coordinated care.
Skin cancer cases are presented to members of the multidisciplinary team during a weekly Tumor Board where cases are reviewed to ensure best treatment practices are offered to patients.
