Charlie Fox Multiple Myeloma Blood Cancer Survivor
Charlie Fox has been a voice on the airwaves in Billings, Montana for decades. He’s played everything from pop hits of the 90s to classic rock favorites. He and his wife Lori love to travel, golf, and spend time with their large family, including 16 grandchildren.
Everything came to a halt in December 2015 when Charlie started experiencing severe back pain. Dr. Jesus Fabregas and his team at the Billings Clinic Cancer Center diagnosed him with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood. Dr. Fabregas and the autologous stem cell transplant team led Charlie’s recovery right here in Billings. It was a challenging road, but the doctors and nurses at Billings Clinic Cancer Center supported Charlie and Lori through the journey.
Today, Charlie is back at the mic playing the hits and doing what he loves. He and Lori have been able to travel and even took a trip to Maui that had been postponed during treatment. They are extremely grateful for the support of their family, friends, and the care team at Billings Clinic.
Billings Clinic has the only FACT Accredited Stem Cell Transplant Center in the region, caring for complex cancer patients right here at home.
