Adopting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can decrease your chances of developing cancer. While many risk factors for cancer can be avoided through lifestyle changes like avoiding tobacco, eating a well-balanced diet, staying physical activite, and limiting sun exposure, cancer can still develop.

Because of this, it is important that you participate in regular check-ups and recommended cancer screenings. Cancer prevention, early detection and cancer screenings can significantly improve the chance of cancer survival.
